Photo highlights of the Lowers Juniors' 'Prehistoric Day'.
Classes met a man from the Stone Age, who told us more about the topic we had been learning about in the Spring Term (He was very impressed by the children's knowledge of his time too!).
Later in the day, each class also had a chance to get hands-on with recovered Stone Age artefacts, as well as watching and having their own go at throwing spears towards animal prey, just as our ancestors would have during this era.
