Special Activities

The school offers a number of opportunities such as day visits, extended trips and visitors to the school eg. theatre companies, musicians, craftspeople etc. We believe that such activities are good value and considerably enhance the curriculum for your child.

The only way we can undertake these is if they are supported by voluntary contributions from parents.

The PTA generously fund some activities, and in the case of genuine hardship, confidential arrangements can be made - however, if insufficient funds to cover the cost of the activity are received then it would be necessary for the activity to be cancelled.

Further information can be found in the Governors' policy for Charging which is available on the website or from the school office.

Residential Visits

We arrange a residential activity long weekend for the Year 6 children. The children enjoy taster sessions of a variety of activities that the normal school curriculum cannot provide such as abseiling, archery, climbing, fencing and many more. A great time is had, not only by the children, but also by the accompanying staff.
